Temples, Mosques, Churches, wherever you go, you find them flooded with people. The cries touch sky and run towards the Lord above. Indians see God in trees, animals, rivers and what not every second stone on the road, is worshipped in the country of millions, ruled by million gods. Every step towards tirumala are red with kumkum, devotees were seen walking on their knees all through out the 9km stretch towards Tirumala from tirupathi.
Well known doctors, sometimes just say, Pray the Lord above, there is very little hope left. 88th minute, the score 1-1 the forwards closing on to the goal post, the goal keeper getting alert, the forward shoots, what next, this second, everyone will clutch their hands praying it to be a save or a goal whatever, but they pray. Reaction would be "Oh my god, What a goal!! " "Thank god, he saved it". This is his power and might.
Thosands assemble before Mosque, every friday. Miracles do happen on this planet, where people have narrow escapes from disasters. Some are that talented, that they are gods in their fields of interest. Omnipresent, Omniscient, almighty. I strongly believe in His power, and that he can do whatever He wants to. But, is there a need to run somewhere to serve the lord.!!?? Well, i think no. Here are some encounters I had with the Lord above.

I was in my third year of graduation and had an oppurtunity to attend a fresher's recruitment programme in our college. Biggies from India, TCS, Satyam and Cognizant were to take in some of us. Very excited, leaving the very comfortable, dirty jeans and t-shirt I have, I was in neatly ironed clothes from my father's wardrobe. Parents wished me luck. It was raining heavily, infact very heavily, I jumped in an auto towards the bus stop. Then I remembered to xerox some of the memos I had. I stopped by at a xerox centre, he xeroxed and gave me the copies. The verificaiton of memos is very strict, warned my placement officer. I was tensed, excited and there came the bus, I jumped into that.
The cool breeze, and the sprinkle of rain water was great. Looking at the green trees in the way to college, I forgot about all the interviews, HR questions, preparation etc., was lost in the beauty of the fields on either side of highway. My college was in suburbs some 30 km from the city. There are no greater public transport system available and most of people like me, from middle class families, used to use the college bus. Some others, who are underprivileged, would use the public transport.
College bus was fun, that day. All of them were dressed, awkwardly and weirdly in formals. I love my casuals, loose dirty jeans faded with a locally made t-shirt and a cap. That was me back in my college days, three years ago. But now, it is different though, tucking in shirts from some costly brands, I look very formal. Some girls were stunning in their business formals. I have a habit of counting things, wallet, handkerchief, tie, mobile, Ya fine. I comforted myself. And then suddenly, I felt that something was missing. My bag, my certificates!! they were missing. The bus was on its high speed admist of the highway. I peeped out of the window, heavy rain, just blowing things in its way. Leave about public transport, there was no single guy seen anywhere around!!!
Will continue in part two!!
Thanks.
